Idea : To be familiar with drawing tool VISIO for ER-Diagrams AND to model a case.

Case Description

Modelling a Restaurant "Peters Pan"

You are to model a Restaurant ("Peters Pan"), as part of designing at system to handle among other bookings and orders,

In the Restaurant they have a Menu-Card which consist of Dishes and Drinks, Dishes and Drinks have Names, Types and Prices. The Types for Dishes could be Starters, Main Course and Dessert, The Types for Drinks could be Wine (red, white, rose), Softdrinks, Water, liqueur wine etc.

In the Restaurant they have tables (with a number of seats), Waiters who serve the tables (In this restaurant a table is only served by one Waiter). You can as Customer make a Booking of one or more tables.
The customer can made an orders of dishes and drinks from the Menu-Card.

If the information is not enough make your own assumptions.

Create an ER-Diagram that model the Restaurant

Use Visio (Or similar) to draw your ER-Diagram.
